Koalition Surf – Yulex Swimsuits:
The Koalition Surf Swimsuilt has been manufactured with Yulex natural rubber, producing up to 80% less CO2 than using traditional neoprene.
– Features
With a 1.5mm Yulex that is 4 way Stretch, this swimsuit has been designed to minimise the friction. The Yulex foam has been laminated with a recycled polyester fabric and laminated with a water based glue. The result is a swimsuit that is warm and flexible.
– Patented Eco Tech
Yulex is a natural rubber that is made from certified forests to create products in an environmentally and socially responsible manner with harmful allergens and contaminants removed.
Most of the major wetsuits companies are still using neoprene that is synthetic rubber.
– Water Based glue
The recycled polyester fabric is laminated on the Yulex foam with a water-based glue. It is eco-friendly, non-toxic and easily recyclable. It is solvant free and it reduces by 600g harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) that have direct impacts. They can cause cancer by damaging liver, kidney or central nervous system.
